Local Hospital Commission Works

The Fairfield Medical Center, chemotherapy room patients now have the opportunity to view Lisa’s work directly over head. Lisa was commissioned by Circle of Hope and the FMC Foundation to create and install art work in the ceiling lights above patient’s seating stations in the Chemotherapy room.
The Art work, (5) large 22 x 38 inch pieces are abstracts that are brilliant in color and have been said to resemble everything from a sunset, the surface of the sun, to a fibrous tissue. The painting is almost three dimensional. Lisa said “I wanted to create a work that could have a different interpretation by all that viewed it. I wanted it to provoke thought as to what it meant to each individual and even each time someone viewed it because so many of the patients would be there for extended periods of time.”
